Once the embroidered portrait is completed, I will talk you through all the options for the background; I have lots and lots of material to choose from, a huge range of Liberty Tana Lawn samples, in all possible colours and patterns, and we will find you the perfect one. The Liberty swatches measure 9x14cm, and the whole thing is then backed onto a piece of denim c.15x20 cm. Alternatively you can choose to have it backed straight onto the denim or onto one of my jewel-toned velvets (again measuring 15x20cm). It might be possible to back the portrait on to a fabric you already own, one that has sentimental value, perhaps, but do bear in mind that this might take longer than the four weeks timeframe.

them out unframed. Most people end up framing the portraits behind glass, and there are many off-the-peg standard frame that will work beautifully - I am happy to talk about options when the portrait is ready, but do not offer a framing service.

After you have placed your order, please use the Customer Contact Form on the Contact Us page and select ‘I need to send images to the Co for a personalised product’ option. You’ll then be able to attach your images. You’ll also be reminded on how to send these within your Order Confirmation email too. If you could please send these within 24 hours of purchase so your delivery time isn’t impacted.
