This popular woodpecker door knocker, Cosima, knocks with its tail - designed so its beak never touches the door, no matter how hard you knock!
Handcrafted in solid brass, it features intricate detailing, a smooth feel, and a shape that fits perfectly in your hand for a satisfying door-knocking experience. Bringing a touch of the countryside to any entrance, Cosima is easy to install with a surface-mounted fixing and arrives beautifully presented in a padded cotton dust bag.

Cosima the woodpecker has a beautiful aged brass patina, achieved through a natural, chemical-free process. It can be cleaned using a metal cleaner or left to age further.
Supplied with screws and fittings for wooden and solid-core composite doors. Please refer to our website for detailed fitting instructions.
As each of our door knockers is individually handmade, subtle variations may occur, adding to the unique character of every piece.
Please get in touch for alternative finishes (polished brass, black, silver).
