The lamp bases are designed to my own specification to specially fit the slim, handmade shades.
The fabric is printed by hand for each lamp, with beautiful details adapted from a c1807 painting by Robert John Thornton.
This item can be delivered direct to the recipient in a gift box - please select this option, if required.
The bases are hand turned from hardwood offcuts and made to my specifications here in the UK.
Each complete lamp comprises of a handmade shade on a solid wood base with a 2m cable and a black plug.
Overall height of the complete lamp is approximately 25cm.

Hi, I'm Karen and I'm the sole pair of hands behind Kettle of Fish Designs.
My work has a distinctive style - it's made for homes which have a personality that develops over time and doesn't necessarily follow trends. Many of the materials I use are recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or upcycled and this enhances the distinctive character that you only get from handmade.
I combine vintage imagery with a rustic aesthetic, so my pieces really suit environments that combine inherited pieces, quirky collections and secondhand finds.
