This block offers a rich, complex, and spicy experience, featuring ground dried turmeric root and patchouli essential oil. Turmeric, prized for its curcumin content, has been used in Indian Ayurveda since 350 BC to treat various skin conditions. Patchouli, a standout extract, was used in the 1800s to authenticate Eastern fabrics and has been applied to treat skin dryness, acne, and eczema. Together, these ingredients create a sophisticated blend reminiscent of bold, flavourful dishes.
