This unique growable garland has been handmade in the UK and embedded with native British wildflower seeds!
After use the paper decorations can be planted to grow bee-friendly flowers, perfect for a zero waste Christmas.
Each of the 10 letters contains a variety of native seeds as well as some larkspur, cornflower and marigold petals
When you have finished with the garland, simply plant the seed paper letters. The seeds will germinate, the paper will compost away, and all that remains are seedlings! A mix of annuals for first year colour, as well as perennials which will flower the following year.
Need to know
Each letter measures 8.5cm x 14cm and comes packaged in a biodegradable grow bag with a 1.6m jute string and a set of planting instructions.
When strung, the garland measures between 120cm and 160cm depending on how the letters are spaced.
The following British wildflower seeds have been used in this product:
Common Poppy, Papaver rhoeas - Sourced from Gloucestershire UK
Foxglove, Digitalis purpurea - Sourced from Norfolk, Suffolk and Staffordshire
Corn Camomile - Sourced from various counties across England
White Campion, Silene latifolia - Sourced from Lincolnshire
Cornflower, Centaurea cyanus - Sourced from Hertfordshire
This product is best planted within 18 months.
Please store in dry and cool conditions.
