Set of four egg cups: green tailed cock, speckled hen, watering can and beets, taken from Helen's Hen and Allotment Collections. Inspired by the ever popular idea of a 'Good Life' - growing your own veg and having your own chickens to lay you an egg for your breaksfast, wouldn't it be wonderful....
Handmade, English Bone China.
Egg cup dimensions 5.4cm h. x 5cm w.
Made in Stoke-on-Trent, the heartland of British ceramics.
Helen’s Dailyware pots are slip-cast from moulds of her wheel thrown forms. They are then bisque-fired, glazed and glaze-fired before being decorated with special lithographically printed ceramic decals of her hand-painted illustrations. A third and final firing melts the artwork into the glaze, so that it is tough enough for dishwashers, microwaves and everyday use.
