Description

I originally created this for an exhibition in Margate in 2022 inspired by Margate and liminal spaces between sea and sand, male and female, knowing and not knowing. Along with some one-off original wooden pieces I evolved this into a print. Embellished with gold and silver leaf, this large 1m by 50cm print takes notes from seafaring charts, sailors flags and of course, Kate Bush. A statement for everyone who loves the water, who loves Kate, who loves imagining themselves at sea.

Need to know

Giclee print on 305gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 100% Cotton Rag, pH neutral, acid free
Hand finished with silver leaf. (Please note that genuine silver leaf will develop a patina over time and change colour. This is part of the artwork and to be expected.)
