A hand carved Indian wooden printing block, made in Jaipur on a Fairtrade project. All our printing blocks can be used to hand print your own fabrics, papers & cards. This beautiful filigree love heart printing block is the perfect choice for Valentine's with a difference. We work personally with our carving teams to ensure fair and sustainable production process, to keep this beautiful craftsmanship alive for generations to come. These blocks are a work of art and love in themselves.
Our Indian wooden printing blocks are hand carved on a Fairtrade project in Jaipur, India and are made using a sustainable wood known as sheesham. The designs are traced and carved onto the wood. The blocks are then left to soak in mustard oil for several days, this preserves the wood making it non-absorbent, and will then mean your block lasts a lifetime of crafting.
Size Approx: 7cm x 7.5cm

The Indian Block Print Co
Hi, I am Maggie the founder of The Indian Block Print Co. I recognised the capacity of block printing to allow anyone to create something beautiful regardless of background, and in doing so build confidence and wellbeing.
We work directly with a team of craftsmen in India. The team have been regularly invited to family weddings, receive updates from their families and give back to the industry by supporting the development of a new block carving workshop in rural India.
