This is a print with hand embossing, titled 'It Comes and Goes in Waves'. It explores the idea that feelings, energy and clarity arrive, leave and return again.
The piece began as a monotype, was translated into a digital print, and is finished with hand-embossed text pressed slowly into the surface. This layering of process, mark-making and letting something shift form more than once means each piece carries slight variations through the embossing, a reminder that nothing stays fixed for long.
A meaningful addition to any space that values reflective art and subtle texture.
