Description

Send good vibes with this making shapes letterpress card. These hand printed letterpress cards are printed on a vintage treadle printing press (restored from c.1900) – using fluoro pink ink. The card is left blank inside for your own message, making it suitable for different occasions. Each card includes a recycled Kraft envelope. Printed on 300gsm wild card, giving a lovely texture.

With letterpress printing, each print involves composing the design into a metal chase, known as a form, which is locked into the bed of the press ready to be inked. The form is pressed against the paper, creating a beautiful impression and tactile finish.

Hello, I'm Catherine, a designer and printmaker with a love of colour and illustration. After travelling in 2009, I fell in love with the range of letterpress prints I found around the world and soon got to teaching myself the traditional printing process when I returned to the UK. Today, my collection of printing presses, inks and wooden type has grown and I now create a range of paper goods focused on simple colour illustrations and the idea of having fun with paper.
