These perfect little honey bee prints make the perfect Valentine gift...
These perfect little honey bee prints make the perfect Valentine gift.
Each bee has been individually printed onto an off-cut of cotton canvas and hand touched for a unique finish.
The miniature frames are made from upcycled wooden curtain rings that have been carefully turned on a lathe to give a faceted profile that is slightly different on each one. The surface is gilded and polished for a soft, burnished gold sheen.
The print comes with a hand printed tag that can include the name of your loved one! Please note, this personalisation is limited to 8 characters due to the size of the vintage printing blocks that I use. The back of the tag is blank for your own message.
Each frame is approximately 7cm in diameter. They have a vintage style hanger and are finished with grey felt on the reverse.
Tags are attached by reclaimed ribbon that may be different from that shown in the photos.

Kettle of Fish Designs
YARM, North Yorkshire
Hello, I'm Karen and I'm the sole pair of hands behind Kettle of Fish Designs.
My work has a distinctive style - it's made for homes which have a personality that develops over time and doesn't necessarily follow trends. Many of the materials I use are recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or upcycled and this enhances the distinctive character that you only get from handmade.
I combine vintage imagery with a rustic aesthetic, so my pieces really suit environments that combine inherited pieces, quirky collections and secondhand finds.
