Miō Manoso is a great omni roast, performing beautifully across brewing methods. As an espresso, it delivers a smooth, rich cup layered with deep caramel sweetness and a velvety texture. When brewed as a filter, brighter and fruitier flavours emerge, offering a more refreshing profile. This balance makes Miō Manaso both versatile and approachable, appealing to a wide range of coffee drinkers.

Notes of Golden Delicious apple bring a crisp, juicy brightness, while caramelised nuts add warmth and depth. A finish of brown butter ties everything together with a silky richness, leaving a satisfying aftertaste that lingers long after the last sip.

Produced in Brazil, this coffee comes from the Mondo Novo peaberry, a rare variety where only one small, dense seed forms inside the cherry. This natural characteristic contributes to a more concentrated flavour and even roasting, enhancing sweetness and clarity in the cup.

Using the honey process, part of the fruit’s mucilage is left on the bean during drying, imparting extra body and sweetness.

ORIGIN
Mió is a family-run coffee estate in Monte Santo de Minas, Brazil, spanning 1,976 hectares between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest biomes. About a third of the land is dedicated to coffee, a third to rotation crops and infrastructure, and a third to preserve native forest.

At altitudes of 900–1100 MASL, they grow ten Arabica cultivars, including Mundo Novo, Catucaí, Bourbon, Acaiá, Arara, and Gesha. Their processing methods range from honey, natural, and washed to experimental fermentations like carbonic maceration, yeast fermentation, and volcanic fermentation.

We are very excited to be working with Mió and look forward to their current and future offerings.
