Glass is chemically inert. It doesn't leech into your drink nor does it take on the flavour over time. Every sip will be the drink in your glass, nothing more, nothing less.
Need to know
Standard - 8.2" long, 10mm external diameter, 2mm wall, 6mm internal diameter. Fits most styles of tall glasses and longer styled cans.
If you don't have a dishwasher the best way to clean your straw is in hot soapy water. Let it sit in the water for a little while then shake it back and forth under the surface, rinse out the soap suds then stand upright to dry.
