A playful composition featuring a vintage Indian matchbox design and a small, alert dog sitting proud. Layers of painted patten and bold colour adds depth and warmth. Acrylic on canvas, framed in an ornate gold frame.
This piece was inspired by an old "Raja" matchbox label I found while travelling in India. The little dog—painted from a photo I took in Karwan Bazar—adds a touch of character and presence to the scene.
