A decorative mirror with a wide red floral frame is hand painted and upcycled from a second-hand find. Transforming something overlooked into a cherished statement piece brings me joy, and I hope it brings the same happiness into your space.
My process begins with hand-sketching my original floral designs, which are then rendered digitally to create custom stencils. Using an airbrush and high quality chalk paint ensures a smooth finish.
To ensure longevity and enhance the richness of the colours, I have finished the frame with a protective coat of furniture wax. This seals and protects the paint and brings out the depth of colour for a smooth, rich finish.
On the reverse this frame features fittings for landscape wall mounting.
