Sculptural Ceramic Basin - Electric Lagoon

A stunning medium sized handcrafted ceramic basin, made from stoneware clay. This basin is hand finished in a vibrant and complex green gloss glaze, with undertones of striking blue and subtle soft white hues.

This ceramic basin / sink is elegant yet durable, and the glaze finish is organic with lighter flowing tones over a vibrant green and blue base.
The basin is designed to sit atop a bathroom surface and will add a touch of glamour to any contemporary bathroom.

Each piece is a unique sculptural work, with its own character and shell like shape.

Standard basin waste size & requires an 'unslotted' basin waste.
Hardware fittings / taps/ basin waste not included.

My work is crafted at my home studio in West Berkshire, UK. Each piece is unique and bears the signs of the handcrafted process; the press of the thumb and the turn of the wheel.

Each piece is crafted from stoneware clay either by hand or on the pottery wheel, then dried and trimmed to shape. All work is then bisque fired in the kiln, glazed and fired a second time. I then sand and clean each piece prior to sending out. Pottery is a long process with each piece taking a week or two to complete. It is a labour of love.
