Near where I live is a BEAUTIFUL shingle coast on which is a permanent sculpture called The Friendship Line. This consists of white pebbles running from the road down to the water; it's beautiful, and visitors add to the sculpture by helping to keep the line in place.
I had to make a painting of it and it makes me happy each time I see it.
