Need to Know

Printing options:
Option 1 - a Wildflower Seed Card so that the recipient can simply plant the card and watch it grow!
The instructions for how to do this are printed on the back of the card, as follows - 'this is a plantable & compostable product; within the card are wildflower seeds. Simply soak with water, place on a tray of soil, keep in warm place, when seedlings are strong plant out in a sunny position!

The seed mixture flowers in each card may vary. Examples of the flowers included are achillea millefolium, centaurea cyanus (cornflower), cheiranthus allionii (Siberian wallflower), chrysanthemum coronarium, chrysanthemum maximum and cosmos bipinnatus (wild cosmos).
250gsm card.

Option 2: a sustainable FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved recyclable card.
300gsm card.

Both card options are:
Size C6/A6 card - 114cm x 162cm (A5 folding to A6 105mm x 148mm folded / 210mm x 148mm open flat).
Sent with an eco-friendly brown Kraft envelope - size is A6 (162mm x 114mm).
Packaged in a compostable cello bag.

Printed in my studio; please note that the print quality and colour vibrancy of the seed card may vary slightly from the flatter FSC card, as the seed card is made from handmade paper and contains seeds.

'The Good Life' cards celebrate the comic genius of the nostalgic 1970's TV series...

'The Good Life' cards celebrate the comic genius of the nostalgic 1970's TV series.

Blank inside for any occasion such as a birthday, new home or just to be thoughtful.

There is the option of buying a Wildflower Seed Card, so that the recipient can simply plant the card and watch it grow, or a Sustainable FSC Card that can be recycled.

Illustrated firstly in pencil, then painted in acrylic paints on recycled paper. Finally put together on my computer!

The flower, bird and typography are not the same as the original artwork; it is my interpretation of the comedy's animated TV opening titles.

Written on the back of each card is a fun fact about 'The Good Life' TV programme to trigger nostalgic memories!
Examples include:
"The Good Life" aired on TV on the 4th of April 1975
"Home Sweet Home" was the title of Episode 6 Series 2 of The Good Life 1975
"Plough your own furrow" was the title of Episode 1 Series 1 of The Good Life 1975.
