The medieval garden was a place for plants with a purpose, grown for beauty and colour, but more importantly for medicinal or culinary reasons. Many of these ancient plants and herbs are still treasured for their healing and edible properties today...

The medieval garden was a place for plants with a purpose, grown for beauty and colour, but more importantly for medicinal or culinary reasons. Many of these ancient plants and herbs are still treasured for their healing and edible properties today.

Our letterbox-sized Medieval Herbs bar contains Clary, Tansy and Burnet, seeds, a trio of ancient herbs that were much prized in medieval times for their healing and practical properties.

With a recyclable wrap surrounding a seed-filled coconut compost bar, the Medieval Herbs Growbar is not just easy to grow, it’s good for the environment too. Simply add water, wait for the seedlings to grow, then plant out, and enjoy a garden filled with the knowledge and provenance of ancient times.

Growbar is 100% eco-friendly with its packaging being 100% recyclable and home compostable. Coir is made with coconut fibres and is a sustainable alternative to peat.

Each Growbar is carefully handmade and beautifully packaged, chocolate bar-style, by a small team in South London.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48, order before 1pm on Friday 19th December to get delivery before Christmas.
