Three elegant geese ready to fly through your home, or to make a beautiful gift for a friend's new house or new baby. These geese have bright pinky-red beaks and inky purply-blue feathers in a loose, painterly style, printed crisply on to heavy weight paper stock. The reverse of each wing and body is printed in petrol blue.
This mobile is a tribute to the thousands of pink footed geese that migrate to Loch Leven each Autumn. I've taken a bit of artistic licence with my paper geese, but their bold silhouettes still evoke the skiens of birds that fly over my garden every year.
Made from hand-cut and folded 350gsm paper printed in the UK from my own designs, plus copper wire and strong fishing line. Each mobile is hand assembled, so each one is unique. The complete mobile has a drop of approximately 70cm, and each bird is approximately 16cm long. Your mobile will arrive folded flat in an A5 size presentation envelope, ready to unfold and display or send on as a special gift.
Please keep out of reach of children (although it's perfect for above a crib - just out of the reach of little hands!), and be sure to hang your paper mobile somehere that's not damp or steamy.

I'm an illustrator, designer and author with a love of pattern, wiggly lines and colourful, joy-filled homes. I hand-make richly patterned paper bird mobiles in my home studio, and design greetings cards, papergoods and jolly enamel mugs for you to use in your own home or gift with love.
I'm often inspired by family life and that special place of play and wonder that small children are immersed in and us adults are often seeking to rediscover. My wish is that my designs spark happiness, create connection and bring a little bit of retro nostalgia wherever they go.
