This handmade artwork is inspired by the classic Tunnock’s Teacake, created using Free Motion Embroidery and appliquéd silver lamé fabric. I carefully hand-paint on top of the embroidery with fabric paints to add depth, shine, and extra detail.
These Teacakes hold a special place in my heart — they remind me of my Grandma, who always had a packet ready for us when we visited. This piece is a little tribute to those sweet memories.
