  • Sold individually.
  • Size: approx. 130cm x 130cm.
  • Materials: Mid Blue and White 100% washed linen front and back. Tan Essex linen blend (55% linen/ 45% cotton) binding. 100% cotton batting. Hand quilted in Ivory cotton.
  • Washing Instructions: Washable at 40 degrees or less. Recommend using a colour catcher in the first wash. Line dry. Fabric will crinkle slightly after the first wash and will soften with use and love. Iron if desired.

A two-sided linen throw quilt that tells the story of the moon’s cycle, perfect for adding quiet meaning to your space. The 'Wax & Wane' design represents the birth and death cycle of the moon; someone once taught me that when the moon is curved like the letter 'b' it's a new moon growing to a full moon (or waxing), and when it's a letter 'd' it's waning. I like this visual reminder of the perpetual cycle of the different curves of the moon as it goes through its regular cycle between new and full moons; a repetitive natural, inevitable cycle of change which can ground us.

This quilt is perfect for a throw on the sofa, a toddler’s bed, or as a wall hanging. Personalisation is available for a special touch.
