I have always enjoyed making but became hooked on quilting after making my first ever quilts for my 2 girls using their outgrown clothes. I began to work with the aesthetic of contemporary patchwork quilts and natural materials to develop my own quilting style, leading to the decision to start a midlife business after time out bringing up children.

My quilts are inspired by my interest in restorative environments developed during my time in landscape architecture. I take inspiration from nature, seasons, landscapes and gardens, particularly the elements of nature which help to restore and calm us. My quilt designs distil these ideas to create calming patterns in natural colours, using natural materials which are beneficial for a healthy home and environment. Quilts are useful and flexible textural layers providing cosy charm and interest in your home.
