As seen on Channel 4’s Yorkshire by the Sea, our Whitby Dark Spiced Rum is a bold nod to the lifesavers of the sea. Distilled with cassia, clove and sea buckthorn, then aged in Madeira casks, it’s rich, warming and just a little wild.
Palate: aromatic fruits and treacle notes come through from the Madeira Wine Cask, which is perfectly balanced with molasses sweetness. A touch of sea buckthorn brings out the orange citrus flavour.
Appearance: a deep golden glow.
Nose: lightly spiced notes with a subtle hint of ripe fruitiness.
