This unique coffee tamper has a flat, solid copper base and charred oak handle. Our copper tamper is heavier than one made from stainless steel. The added weight makes it great for pressing the perfect coffee puck, which is one of the most important things for making great-tasting coffee. Charring the oak brings out all the magnificent character in its grain as well as providing a layer of protection to the wood. The copper base will naturally develop over time into an even richer colour.
