We are a husband-and-wife team specialising in creating gifts and cards from recycled materials. We use vintage blankets, broken jewellery, feathers, vintage linen, reclaimed timber, and leather.
We have been in business for 10 years and love what we do. Libby, a former theatrical costume designer handles the sewing and illustrating. Neil, a self-taught carpenter works with the wood.
We have a small but mighty shop in the historic market town of Nantwich.

The story behind the business
Meet AiMÉe & Fred
We met in 2011 and instantly fell in love, Neil proposed moments after we met! We realised our shared passion for creativity and started making and selling items in a small vintage shop, called Jumble People.
On days off we would visit antiques and junk shops searching for hidden treasures. A love for whimsical and curious objects developed. We went from creating handmade cards, to making a plethora of curiosities.
The first iconic creation was the pull along elephant, which inspired the logo.
“Aimée & Fred” are our middle names. Our daughter, Lola, came along in 2017. She injected a new energy into our creations. Each of her life stages informs and inspires new products.
From trading outside in all weathers at markets, in 2022 our success led to a bricks and mortar establishment. You will find us next to the vintage sweet shop at 4 Crown Mews, Nantwich.
