Creature Clothes was born through the love of a dog. Her name was Vodka & she was amazing. We went everywhere together. I tied silver stars onto her collar so that she would match the silver star necklace that I wore every day. I loved that we matched. But whenever we went on the tube, strangers would ask if they could buy her collar straight from her neck… no one had ever seen anything like it before. So I flew out to Menorca to work as an apprentice, learning traditional leather making skills. There I made a proper collar for Vodka, using star studs from the Menorcan fiestas horses. I also made myself a matching wrist cuff & belt. I then came home & set up Creature Clothes! Fast forward 22 years & cool collars are now the norm. Creature Clothes has grown to make everything from vegan collars to washable dog beds to collaborating on some pretty fabulous things. Our founding ethos remains: design & make great looking products for pets & their people, that work really well & are made with an environmental awareness. Wooftastic!
