Meet Kayleigh,
Based in North Somerset, I live with my partner and our two young children. From my home studio, I run Excell Quilts., creating modern quilted art and home goods inspired by nature.
My sewing journey began when my children were babies. Seeking a mindful hobby, I bought a sewing machine and followed online tutorials. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a deep passion.
The first quilt I made—for my son—sparked a love for the process of piecing and construction. That experience marked the beginning of Excell Quilts. I still find the same joy in sewing and sharing my work today.
