The idea for Glow Lighting came from a simple desire - to help people step away from mass produced lighting and create something unique for their homes or workspace. Our lighting is all designed and created in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The components are sourced very carefully using British manufacturers, the majority of which are produced by local craftsmen.
It has always been a passion of mine to support British manufacturing and allow people the opportunity to buy British wherever possible, as well as enabling people to buy bespoke beautiful lighting at reasonable prices.

I established my business in 2015, having worked in the lighting industry since leaving education. My father owned a British manufacturing company, and this early exposure was my driving force into the world of manufacturing.
During the 90s, I cultivated my love for lighting, honing my skills in various aspects of the industry, including sales, production, purchasing, and design. These diverse experiences paved the way for my dream of founding Glow Lighting.
As I ventured into running my own company, my enduring passion for colour, natural materials and timeless design began to take shape. This is reflected in the unique collections we offer, where each piece tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship.
At the heart of my business lies a deep commitment to exceptional customer service and sustainability. These principles guide everything we do, from the creation of our lighting to our interactions with our valued customers.
