From a young age I was drawn to fashion & costume design. Fascinated by the combination of construction, silhouette, fabric & colours. After a slight diversion into Architectural interior design…(enough said on that) I found my happy place on a Fashion Design Course and obtained my BA(Hons) Degree in Fashion Design at Southampton Solent University.

On graduating, I worked for a luxury fashion house in London, then a little over a decade later moved away to set up on my own. Creating a small flowergirl collection and a number of bespoke occasion wear commissions. 2020 (a turning point for many, myself included) was a chance to stop and experiment with embroidery, to which I have fallen in love with. Even with years of fashion industry experience, embroidery is a skill all on it's own, I am self taught, ever evolving & learning & loving it.

It has been a whirlwind few years, I can't wait to realise all the ideas in my head. I am still finding my feet with regards to work processes, and making current kits consistent in how they are assembled. Kits are made in small batches by hand. Mindful of our planet, packaging is kept to a minimum and are (as much as possible) recycled/recyclable or biodegradable.Alison
