The story behind the business

Meet Perambulations

Founded in 2020, Perambulations is a series of architecture walking and cycling guides created by designer and writer Stefi Orazi. Focusing on housing, each guide explores a different neighbourhood through its buildings, combining original research, photography and hand-drawn maps. Independently designed and produced, Perambulations encourages people to explore on foot or by bike, and to look more closely at the architecture that surrounds them.

Stefi is the author of several books on modernist architecture including The Barbican Estate, Modernist Escapes and Modernist Estates: The Buildings and the People Who Live in Them.
