Daughter of a Potter, mother of 3, partner to a tattooist, inspired by nature, ceramics and all things patterned.

I studied art at college and fashion design at university before going into Fashion buying. Then when on maternity leave with my first child I started painting again and started up Polly Mabel Illustrations during lockdown.

I love to create playful, patterned paintings of flowers and pottery that can bring joy and a sense of nostalgia. I use watercolour and black ink fine liner on wonderfully thick handmade cotton paper.

My little studio in Cheddar is my sanctuary, full of old books, flowers, plants, paintings and the earthy smell of incense.

I try to keep packaging recyclable and recycled as much as possible. So please reuse and recycle where you can.
