It all started with a borrowed box of my daughter's oil pastels then slowly bloomed into something much bigger. Before that point I had never considered myself to be overly creative, but the moment I began drawing, the creativity flowed. As a mum to then two-year, illustrating had to fit around nap times and family life.

I spent months experimenting with different mediums before eventually discovering digital illustration. It gave me the freedom to capture ideas quickly, sketching between moments and building a creative practice in the small pockets of time I could find.

From those early drawings, Queen of the Rodeo slowly grew into a world of whimsical, colour-filled artwork inspired by nostalgia, interiors and storytelling. Every piece begins as a fleeting idea and evolves into playful, timeless designs created to bring joy, personality and a sense of wonder into the home.
