I started making paper flowers for fun several years ago, firstly from card and paper, before I discovered the magic of crepe paper. The ability to mould and shape the paper into more botanically realistic forms immediately sparked my creative spirit.

I hand colour all my paper using artist grade watercolour inks and fine pastels which makes every flower unique and elevates each stem into a piece of artwork.

The dying and drying process can take up to 5 days alone, before I carefully make the detailed flower centres, hand cut and shape the petals (sometimes 100s!) and softly layer them around, adding any extra colour details before finishing with foliage.

There are no limits - any size, colour or shape is possible. I’ve created bespoke commissions for weddings, shop windows and advertising, as well as single stems or bouquets as thoughtful, long-lasting gifts for interior design or garden lovers.

I also enjoy teaching paper flower making techniques through in-person workshops, sharing my relaxed approach and the mindfulness of creativity, which I’ve found so personally beneficial.
