Each bloom is made from crepe paper, hand coloured using artist grade watercolour inks and fine pastels which makes every flower unique and elevates each stem into an individual piece of artwork. Natural variations in colour, petal placement and form are part of the artistry and ensure that no two flowers are exactly alike, just as you would expect in nature.
The stems are everlasting and remain beautiful year after year, but to keep them looking at their very best, they should be kept away from any water or source of damp, out of direct sunlight and gently brushed with a static duster or a hairdryer on cool setting occasionally. The stems are made using floristry wire and care should be taken with any sharp points.

Enjoy the beauty of Spring all year round with these exquisitely handcrafted paper Parrot Tulips. Inspired by the dramatic ruffled petals of Parrot Tulips, each bloom is individually created from premium Italian crepe paper. Each petal is painted, shaped and placed by hand around an intricate handmade centre, finished with gently curling leaves.
Each Tulip is uniquely made from artistically hand dyed paper. The paper dying and drying process can take up to 5 days alone, before creating the detailed flower centres, hand cutting and shaping the petals, softly layering and adding any extra colour details before finishing with green foliage to offset the beauty of the bloom.
Soft blush pinks, raspberry tones, corals and delicate ivory highlights blend together across every petal, capturing the natural variation and movement found in fresh Tulips. Available in Coral, Bright Pink, Raspberry Pink, Apricot, Cream, Pale Pink or Rhubard & Custard.
