The Kebab Club is on a mission is to bring authentic Turkish flavours to homes nationwide, making it easy to create delicious, nutritious kebabs in your kitchen.
Founded by a husband and wife team who have a shared passion for food, Yuksel grew up in his family's kebab shop and Elizabeth grew up in her family's greengrocer business and then trained to be a chef. They combined their shared love of food to create Turkish condiments that are authentic, 100% natural and created exactly how they make them at home.

Hi I'm Elizabeth, founder of The Kebab Club. I live in Essex with my husband, Yuksel and my two cats Pablo & Diego and I am lucky enough to spend my days developing products and recipes that will bring some authentic Turkish flavour to people's homes.
I founded The Kebab Club in 2021 with the support of my husband. We met when we were just 16 and even at that young age we both had a shared passion for good food. My husband is Turkish and grew up in his family's kebab shop and my parents had a greengrocers, so we were both used to being part of the everyday running of a food business.
Despite language barriers, I was fully embraced into his family and the Turkish culture. I have spent the last 16 years continually learning and asking questions about recipes and Turkish dishes both from mainland Turkey and regionally from North Cyprus where my husband's family are from and we often visit. It has not only been a way to build relationships with his family but also to develop my skills and understanding of the cuisine.
I can remember the exact moment when we had the brainwave for The Kebab Club - we were in the car travelling to Norfolk to visit my parents and a friend text me asking for a recipes for a kebab I had cooked the day before at a BBQ. It was a long list of ingredients and she said 'can't you just make it for me and give it to me?' and at that moment I thought, maybe I can! For the next 2 hours of that car journey we came up with the brand name, the first 4 products and I downloaded Canva and designed the brand colours and packaging. This has since been made a lot more professional by a graphic designer but the core name, colours and products are exactly the same.
I ran the business as a side hustle along side my job as a History teacher and then after seeing the popularity of the products and the returning customers and I support, I honestly still don't believe that this is my actual job!
