Need to Know
Material: Solid brass (naturally lead-free)
Dimensions: approx. 4cm flower head with an option of 12cm or 18cm stem.
Variation: Because each piece is individual and sculpted by hand, subtle changes in form and tone make every stem uniquely yours.
Care Instructions: Brass naturally oxidises over time, developing a rich, warm patina. If you prefer a bright, golden finish, simply buff gently with a soft brass polishing cloth or use a gentle liquid metal polish.
Handmade in small batches by independent maker Ellenlou, shipped from Ludlow in recyclable packaging ready for gifting.

Capturing the fleeting beauty of early spring, the anemone celebrates delicate floral elegance.
Hand-sculpted in Ellie's Shropshire studio, this everlasting stem showcases gently sweeping petals gathered around a striking, highly textured stamen centre. Carved in wax and cast in solid brass, its satisfying weight makes for a striking stand-alone piece in a bud vase, an accent in a printer's tray, or a focal point nestled in to a delicate dried flower bouquet.
Gift Ideas:
The April Birth Flower: A uniquely artistic birthday gift for April-born loved ones, honouring the anemone's historic symbolism of anticipation, protection, and unfading love.
The 7th Anniversary: Brass is the traditional gift for 7 years of marriage—a symbolic "everlasting bloom" to mark your journey together.
A Botanical Keepsake: Perfect for admirers of woodland florals, elegant silhouettes, and minimalist home decor.
Complete your gift with British wildflower wrap and a matching insect card - drawn in a delicate fine-line pen by Birmingham illustrator Edward Luke Thrush - alongside a selection of dried flowers & grasses grown in my own garden. To display your stem, you can add a hand-picked vintage glass bottle from my personal collection, or a fine bone china vase by Birmingham ceramicist Wendy Tournay slip-cast from antique bottles unearthed from the garden.
