Need to Know
As this is a handpainted piece, it is primarily a decorative item. It's more a piece of art than an everyday kitchen utensil. Using it as a chopping board or other heavy kitchen use on the painted side risks the design being damaged.
The design is painted using acrylic paints and then sealed using a polyurethane sealer. It can be wiped clean using a soft, damp cloth.
The boards are acacia wood and dimensions are 48cm x 26cm, including the handle.

I use lovely acacia wood boards that have a fantastic colour and grain. As every board I make has a handpainted design, each one is unique in its design detail and use of colour.
