Biothane is vegan leather. We use the original American Biothane, as it is famously strong & very tested. In our book if you are going to use a material that is synthetic it has to last a long time in order to make it environmentally acceptable. Biothane is extremely hard wearing & waterproof. Wipe it clean & it looks brand new in seconds. I’ve even put it in the washing machine. It should last as long as a leather lead. The lead is riveted together and has an “O” ring at the handle to clip on a treats pouch or poo bag holder. We have tried and tested this lead for months & it still looks brand new. Trust us, we have been trying to destroy it and so far not even a scratch. This is why professional dog walkers love these leads so much.

- It is PVC coated polyester webbing. Made in the USA
- Buckle and Dee are nickle plated solid brass

Care Instructions:
Wipe clean with a damp cloth using ecover, washing up liquid or cleaning fluid.
Can also be machine washed but the metalware may damage your washing machine and this may also reduce the longevity of your collar. Stick to wiping down if you can.

Our leads are sent out via Royal Mail as standard, however you can opt for express courier delivery at checkout. Please bear in mind that we still need time to hand make your order, however if you have selected express courier delivery your order will go to the top of our making list, and will also spend less time in transit.

Please be aware that bespoke and personalised items are non-returnable so please be 100% sure of size and details when you place your order.

Faulty Items:
If you have a faulty item, please let us know as soon as possible. We take quality control very seriously and run quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process. Any issues raised will be seriously investigated and worked on to eliminate.
