Need to Know
  • Jute String Tinsel made from red, green and white Everlasto 100% Jute Twine from the James Lever Factory in Bolton, UK, where they've been manufacturing twine, cord and rope for over 150 years.
  • Each length is approximately 2 metres.
  • Can be bought individually or as a set of three 2-metre lengths.
  • Keep a minimum of 1 metre away from fire, flame and other heat sources, especially if you use candles and/or fires at Christmas time.
  • I don't use fire retardants on any of my products, but these are available to buy elsewhere in spray form should you want extra peace of mind.
  • Strinsel is not a toy - it can pose a strangulation risk.
  • Do not cut to size, otherwise it will unravel.
  • All packaging can be re-used, composted and/or widely recycled.
  • Handmade in the UK.

Jute String Tinsel made from red, green and white jute and candy striped cotton thread.

Candy canes rarely make it to Christmas Eve in our house but with this adorning our tree, their stripey presence is felt throughout the season, long after the whiff of peppermint has left the air.

It is entirely plastic free and made in small batches by me at my old oak dining table.
