Need to Know
- A handcrafted Christmas tree topper made from French knitted cotton string and wire.
- Made entirely by hand using strings and twines from the James Lever Factory in Bolton, UK, where they've been manufacturing twine, cord and rope for over 150 years.
- Decoration Material & Flammability Note: keep away from open flames, candles and other heat sources.
- Natural cotton string is intended for practical uses so slight inconsistencies in colour, flecks and blemishes are all part of the charm.
- The Triple Star Tree Topper measures approximately 30cm wide x 21cm high x 2cm deep.
- To fix the topper to your tree, twist the wire coil around the leader branch. I liken it to plaiting them together rather than fixing one to the other.
- I make the coil in two sizes: Standard Coil (1cm diameter) for most real trees and narrower artificial trees, and Wide Coil (2cm diameter) for fuller trees, especially larger artificial ones.
- Please do bear in mind these items are hand made so all measurements I give are approximate.
- I keep marketing materials to a minimum and all packaging I use can be re-used, composted and/or widely recycled.

Add a touch of Scandi charm to your tree with this handcrafted Triple Star Tree Topper. It has more drama than the original Simple Stars, but the natural imperfections of the French knitted, undyed cotton string mean it still captures the charm of a simple Christmas decoration.
I love the graphic simplicity of my Simple Star Tree Toppers, but I wanted to see if I could make a more 3 dimensional star. I played with stacking concentric stars of increasing sizes, rather like a Russian Doll, and could immediately see how the depth and movement would work really well as a single tree topper, especially on large Christmas trees.
