A cool alternative to snowflakes and candy canes - celestial themed hangings. Moon and sun.
Hand rolled with porcelain clay and stoneware clay and cut out by using paper templates for the shape, decorated with underglazes then bisque fired and then glaze fired to 1240 degrees.
Each hanging decoration is hand painted with underglazes and a paint brush, so each one is slightly different. Comes with a gross grain red ribbon - ready to hang.
Sun is made with a stoneware clay and a matt frosty glaze and the moon is made with porcelain and a clear glaze. This gives the sun and moon subtle different finishes.
The beauty of these hangings is that they can be used the whole year through.
Please chose from the variations which decoration you would like - sun or moon.
