  • Handmade from white earthenware clay with a translucent grey, food-safe glaze.
  • Approximately 10.5cm diameter x 7.5cm high
  • Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prevent the ceramic screw from chipping.
  • Each mug is handmade, so size, shape and glaze may vary slightly from the photographs.

A fun and thoughtful handmade mug for grandad, daddy, or any DIY enthusiast. Each mug is hand made from start to finish from a ball of white earthenware clay, so may vary slightly from the photographs, as no two are identical and have an individual personality.

Each cup is thrown in small batches on my potter's wheel, a hand-pulled handle and modelled ceramic screw is applied prior to firing in my kiln. The mug is then painted and glazed before the final firing takes place.

The words 'screw loose sir' were originally used on tiny retro screwdriver kits that came in a mini leather pouch for the pocket. A great gift for dad or any man in your life that enjoys a lovely cuppa.
