Need to Know
  • Made from gold and yellow Everlasto Jute Twine sourced from the James Lever Factory in Bolton, UK.
  • Handmade in the UK.
  • Can be bought individually or as a set of three 2-metre lengths.
  • Dimensions: Each length in approximately 2 metres..
  • Keep a minimum of 1 metre away from fire, flame and other heat sources.
  • I don't use fire retardants on my products. Please do bear this in mind, especially if you use candles and/or fires (real flame or otherwise) at Christmas time.
  • Do not cut to size, otherwise it will all unravel and your floor will resemble the aftermath of a ticker tape parade.
  • Packaging can be re-used, composted and/or widely recycled.

If the natural tones of the undyed jute used to make my Golden Strinsel are a little too subtle for your Christmas, then this Classic Gold Strinsel might be what your looking for. Classic Gold Strinsel adds a rich metallic sheen to your Christmas tree. This plastic-free tinsel is made from two different coloured jutes, yellow and gold, woven together to create a classic, sparkly look.

Jute holds onto dye far better than many synthetic polymers, so very little is needed to create wonderfully saturated colours while keeping the natural sheen and lustre of the fibres. The result is a decoration that proves plastic free doesn't have to mean muted.

Handmade in the UK, each length is a unique, natural piece that brings a warm, festive glow to your home.
