Droplet Pendant Light - Three

A simple and striking handmade pendant light with three porcelain droplets to evoke falling water. Handmade droplet pendants provide ample ambient light as well as feature lighting.

Droplets are hand cast in porcelain slip and polished to a smooth surface finish before glazing by hand and firing twice. The dipped glazed edge of shiny transparent glaze catches the light, contrasting with the matt raw clay and giving an organic tactile surface finish. Despite their delicate, eggshell appearance they are very strong due to the natural strength of porcelain ceramic and its high firing temperature. There is natural variation in the clay which when lit gives an organic glow and describes the clay texture and hand crafted process used to make them as well making every pendant light unique!

A flexible pendant, can be grouped as a tight cluster or arranged spread in a linear arrangement. Available in any number of droplets.
