Handmade hand embossed tin greetings card...
Handmade hand embossed tin greetings card
A unique hand-made card, with a hand embossed tin decoration that the recipient can hang in their home for years to come once the card is taken down.
A card with an added gift!
The hanging tin decoration catches the light beautifully and comes on a cotton hanging string.
The Sun design has been created and hand embossed by me, and draws inspiration from the seasons, the solar system and from traditional tarot decks.
Hand-embossed tin Sun decoration, with cotton hanging string, on a kraft card, with a kraft envelope.
Size of card 5 x 7 inches
Just like all my designs they are eco friendly - no plastic in the product or the packaging.
Because they are hand made no two are exactly the same.

Susan creates original and innovative work with a distinctive graphic quality. Her art is created by hand printmaking - using letterpress, lino cut and mono printing techniques. Her fascination with these handmade analogue techniques and with 'slow art' drives her creative output. She loves how each piece she hand makes is absolutely unique. How each piece is made with care and attention, and how creating by hand produces what might seem like 'imperfections' in our perfect digital world (finger prints, different weights of ink and the like ) yet are actually what creates their beauty.
She combines a simple, graphic style for which she in known with either striking monochrome or rich metallics.
Her inspiration comes from inspirational poems, song lyrics, wild swimming, contemporary culture and ancient wisdoms, folklore, protest art and feminisim.
