Ey Up Duck - Letterpress Greetings Card
This is a hand-printed letterpress card using original wooden poster type.
'Ey Up Duck' is a common salutation in the In East Midlands, North Midlands, North Staffordshire, and Yorkshire. The affectionate greeting is thought to be of Old Norse origin (se upp), and "m' duck" is thought to be derived from the respectful Anglo Saxon form of address "Duka" (literally "duke") and is unrelated to waterfowl.
With a simple brown Kraft envelope and blank inside for your message, this card is the perfect way to keep it simple and let your message inside do the talking!
Printed in metal type on a weighty 320gsm, 100% recycled oatmeal card - a lovely thick cream card with soft flecks, it takes a great impression.
Our hand printed cards also look impressive when framed - so remember that you're giving a print, made with love!
