A green bauble design on a sustainable jute placemat for your Christmas table. Each mat is handcrafted by women in remote rural villages in southern Bangladesh, who are paid directly for their work. The Jacksons are proud to support the education, healthcare and livelihoods of these craftspeople, who have become Louise Jackson’s ‘extended family.’
Made from 100% natural jute, known locally as the ‘golden fibre.’ It grows abundantly on marginalised land with a low environmental impact, absorbing carbon dioxide as it grows.
