This finish is the result of much testing, striving for the the perfect emerald green. Sure, I had lots of blues, lots of aqua and turquoise tones, but the green that I wanted eluded me for many months. That’s why, when I finally hit on this glaze, my immediate urge was to call it 'The Green Goddess Mug.' It had arrived.
Wheel thrown, hand finished and hand painted. These pieces are made using made durable high fire stoneware clay and are made to withstand daily use.
Handmade by Gillian, a Galway native living and making in Belfast, NI.

Pieces are perfectly microwave and dishwasher safe. Although handwashing will ensure that surface shine remains glossier for longer as dishwasher tablets can be abrasive.
