Handcrafted Bathroom Basin In Dream Catcher White

A pearlescent handcrafted ceramic bathroom basin / sink, made from stoneware clay, and finished in 'Dream Catcher' glaze. This sculptural ceramic basin is elegant yet durable, and the glaze colour mimics the subtle tones of a shell; with warm creamy tones, whites and light pinks. This basin / sink is designed to sit atop a bathroom surface and will add a touch of glamour to any contemporary bathroom or WC. The glaze detail is organic with drips and flows of warm cream and white moving towards a satin light pink centre with darker flecks around the central waste.

Each basin is slightly different with its own unique character and organic curved shell like shape.

My work is crafted at my home studio in West Berkshire, UK. Each piece is unique and bears the signs of the handcrafted process; the press of the thumb and the turn of the wheel. Each piece is crafted from stoneware clay either by hand or on the pottery wheel, then dried and trimmed to shape. Each piece is then bisque fired in the kiln, glazed and fired a second time. I then sand and clean each piece prior to sending out. Pottery is a long process with each piece taking a week or two to complete. It is a labour of love. Enjoy!
